Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Provide diligent post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and ensure safe patient recovery
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Administer medication as required and per protocol
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in PACU
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Availability to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday as specified
