Senior Analyst

Our client is a media corporation. They seek a Senior Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Lead reporting projects from planning and fit-gap analysis through requirements gathering, design sessions, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as the primary reporting lead and liaison between finance teams and reporting technology teams.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting using OfficeConnect, Adaptive Planning, AI, and other reporting tools.
• Support Adaptive Planning initiatives, including system improvements and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide support to divisional finance teams.
• Coordinate internal and external financial reporting with corporate finance.
• Validate financial data and analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with finance teams to identify reporting opportunities, challenges, and process improvement needs.
• Manage reporting projects by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Implement AI and Adaptive Planning solutions to automate manual processes and modernize reporting workflows.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Demonstrate the ability to present to leadership on opportunities to transform, modernize, and streamline legacy business processes.
• Apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions.
• Understand AI tools and demonstrate an interest in applying them to financial reporting and planning.
• Coordinate team members across multiple time zones while managing concurrent, complex projects.
• Demonstrate experience creating custom reports using Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
