New Graduate Friendly – Start Working Under the 90-Day Rule New York State allows new nursing graduates to begin working as an RN for up to 90 days after graduation , even if: Your RN license is still processing You're waiting for your NCLEX exam date You passed the exam but the license hasn’t posted yet You will work under the supervision of a licensed RN until your license is fully active. About the Position As a New Graduate RN at Fairview, you’ll receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and support while caring for residents in a dynamic skilled rehab and nursing home setting. We help you transition smoothly from student to confident professional. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care under RN supervision Assist with assessments, documentation, and daily clinical tasks Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervising staff Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration Support residents with compassion, professionalism, and patience Follow Fairview’s standards for safety, infection control, and resident‑centered care Requirements Graduation from an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN) Eligibility to take the NCLEX Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Compassion for seniors and individuals receiving rehab care Ability to work collaboratively with the nursing team Why Fairview?
