As a Physical Therapist, youll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Promotes Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
• Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development.
• Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
• Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
• Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
• Physically demanding, high stress environment with full range of body motion including handling, lifting and transfer of patients.
• Potentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Must be able and willing to travel 50%.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
