St. Louis Blues Street Team Ambassador

The St. Louis Blues Street Team is seeking passionate, outgoing brand ambassadors who will represent the St. Louis Blues organization at events, summer camps, schools, and Blues games. The Street Team engages with the community to promote overall awareness of the Blues brand, is committed to growing the sport of hockey, and brings fan experiences to life at all events. As a group, we aim to foster relationships and leave every person with a lasting, memorable impression of the St. Louis Blues.

You will be the front line of Blues representation, helping strengthen our relationship with the St. Louis Community while executing street hockey and fan engagement throughout the area. These include, but are not limited to, weekly school visits during the season, youth hockey events/programs, festivals, fan activations, and more.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute fan activations at a variety of events.
• Lead The Street Blues Program every week during the summer and school year.
• Promote and grow youth hockey in the St. Louis area by teaching the fundamental skills of hockey to children at summer camps and schools.
• Provide the camps, schools, and students with a fun and memorable time while learning about hockey.
• Help with the execution, activation, and breakdown of all activations at home games.
• Engage with current and future fans through inflatable activations such as Slapshot, Bungee, and Obstacle Course.
• Responsible for set up, breakdown, and transport of all required elements (inflatables, speakers, tents, pop-ups, backdrops, street hockey equipment, props, etc).

Qualifications and requirements include:

• Must have a high school diploma (current college student or recent graduate preferred).
• Must be knowledgeable about the sport, enjoy being active, and like working with kids.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to all work-related events.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an extended amount of time.
• Must live in or around the St. Louis area.
• Must be available to provide us with 50% work availability each month.
• Must have a flexible schedule (able to work unusual/long hours, including evenings and weekends).
• Must be able to work both Street Blues visits and other events.
• Must be able to operate a company pick-up truck/van.

Work settings include:

• Comfortable with a multitude of work environments: indoor and outdoor settings, including inclement weather.
• Camps and schools throughout the Greater St. Louis area.
• Enterprise Center and other arena-like settings.
• Understand that these will include both hot and cold temperatures, as well as various crowd sizes.

Salary: $15.00 Hourly
