Travel RN – Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Medical/Telemetry unit on a 9th floor inpatient setting
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Operate and manage PCA pumps and IV pumps as part of routine patient care
• Administer and monitor medication drips
• Manage and maintain central lines per unit protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and fellow RNs across shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
