PrintoLUX Brand Lead

CEC Controls

General Responsibilities:

CEC Controls is an authorized distributor of PrintoLUX industrial marking and identification solutions throughout North America. The PrintoLUX Operations Lead is responsible for supporting and coordinating all aspects of the PrintoLUX product line, including sales support, customer engagement, technical assistance, inventory management, material handling, and operational execution.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for PrintoLUX-related activities and works closely with customers, suppliers, sales personnel, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery, technical support, and business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service and sales skills with technical aptitude and a hands-on approach to inventory and operational management. The position plays a key role in expanding PrintoLUX market presence while ensuring customers receive timely support, product expertise, and a high level of service throughout the sales and fulfillment process.

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in operations, business, technical support, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations support, technical sales support, inventory/material handling, or industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand industrial marking and automation products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/inventory systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to operational support.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting industrial equipment, automation, labeling, or marking systems is a plus.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform material handling activities throughout the workday.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to travel periodically to affiliate, customer and/or supplier locations, as required.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Support
  • Support business development efforts by coordinating customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with identifying new opportunities for PrintoLUX products and services within existing and prospective customer accounts.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and professional support.
  • Coordinate customer demonstrations, sample requests, and product evaluations.
  • Support sales forecasting and reporting activities.
  • Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and product presentations as required.
Technical Support
  • Provide technical support for PrintoLUX equipment, materials, and marking solutions.
  • Assist customers and internal teams with troubleshooting product or application-related issues.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and engineering teams to resolve technical concerns.
  • Support installation, startup, and operational guidance for PrintoLUX systems when required.
  • Maintain technical product documentation, manuals, and support records.
  • Assist with product testing, validation, and application development activities.
Operations & Material Handling
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, and movement of PrintoLUX inventory and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Prepare and coordinate shipments, packaging, and logistics activities.
  • Ensure material handling activities are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Support procurement activities for consumables, spare parts, and operational materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support customer demand.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within operational and storage areas.
Administrative & Operational Leadership
  • Support development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to customer support, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate activities across sales, operations, and technical support functions to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.
  • Support compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental policies.
