Details Work in the Emergency Department, specifically the ER Holding area Treats pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Patient ratio of 1:3 Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00), 36 hours per week Epic charting system preferred Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience with ER, ER Holding, or MS/Tele background required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line management required Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen administration, and airway management required Experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management required Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are ineligible for a travel assignment at this facility RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance deadlines Preferred experience includes teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II settings American Traveler Job ID P-768533.
