Assistant Project Manager Our client is a premier general contractor located in the western suburbs of Chicago - primary focus on healthcare, light industrial and tenant interiors construction projects. Due to a strong pipeline, they are immediately seeking the appointment of an experienced and driven construction assistant project manager to assist with multiple projects across the Chicagoland area with the project manager. Job description includes contacting subcontractors and vendors during bid process, project scope of work development, project planning and implementation of activities, document management and logging including safety documentation, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close out documents, meeting minutes, subcontractor and superintendent coordination, and travel to job sites as required by PM and/or superintendents. The successful Assistant Project Manager: 2+ years of experience working in the construction industry Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, civil engineering or a related field Manage administrative construction duties, including document control Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution Assist the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists On offer for an Assistant Project Manager: Competitive base salary between $95,000 and $105,000, depending on level of experience Bonus potential Car allowance Full support needed to grow & enhance project management skills Full benefits package including health, vision, dental 401k contribution Mentorship programs - at all levels Clear development & growth plan Advancement opportunities within the organization Industry leading PTO and vacation policy Paid maternity Paternity leave #J-18808-Ljbffr Michael Page
