Join our team and become the future of freight!The purpose of the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is to oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities for the company's fleet of equipment. The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the fleet is well-maintained, safe, and operates efficiently.Responsibilities:Manage the productivity and uptime of a specialized fleet of equipment including scheduled and preventative maintenanceSchedule maintenance and repairs for equipmentAccurate and up to date asset trackingCommunicate with drivers, customers and third party maintenance facilitiesCost controlEquipment relocationCoordination with remote dispatch teamsVendor negotiationsRequirements:High level of organizational skillsWorking knowledge and prior background in heavy equipment maintenance, including tractors, knuckle boom loaders, hydraulics, or related experience.Previous transportation experienceProficient with TMS systems, maintenance software, Excel and other software programsOrganized, self-starter with the ability to communicate across department lines.Secondary education preferredThe company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all associates and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information or other categories protected by law.
