An opportunity is available for a seasoned Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations in a vibrant 250-bed community hospital situated approximately an hour from Albany, NY. This role offers the chance to oversee comprehensive pharmacy services, ensuring the highest standards of medication management and patient care within a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily pharmacy operations to optimize efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance medication safety and pharmacy services.
• Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to align pharmacy activities with overall hospital goals.
• Manage budgetary aspects and resource allocation for the pharmacy department.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and maintain continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience as Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and medication safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to implement strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of New York or eligible for licensure.
