Registered Nurse (Per-Diem)

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions. The ICU RN works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced community hospital setting. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred) Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered with appropriate training) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association) CCRN certification preferred or willingness to obtain Skills and Competencies Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients as required for extended periods Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations Work Schedule Per-Diem, As needed Flexible #J-18808-Ljbffr Larkin Community Hospital
