Job Duties

• Process order maintenance and generate invoices for work assignments
• Prepare and verify bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips with shipment details
• Provide proof of delivery (POD) and support customer service for lost or delayed shipments
• Collaborate with Corporate Customer Service to resolve data entry issues and expedite orders
• Monitor and expedite past due orders using shipping reports
• Obtain and prepare export shipment documentation when needed
• Print, sort, and prepare sales orders for floor leads
• Issue paperwork for material returns and maintain inventory accuracy
• Coordinate with other departments and plants to fulfill customer orders
• Contact trucking firms for rate quotes and arrange expedited shipments
• Trace lost shipments and file damage claims with carriers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of administrative, clerical, warehouse office, or shipping/receiving experience. Experience with bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, invoices, and shipping documentation preferred. Customer service experience and the ability to resolve shipment-related issues. Strong math skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Ability to maintain organization and accuracy while handling multiple tasks and deadlines
