Manager will interview. Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) is a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) that provides care to critically ill/postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients 18 years and older. Procedures and care provided include, but are not limited to, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, patients recovering from open heart surgery, arrythmia monitoring and intervention, advanced cardiac life support, pacemaker/ICD management, IABP management, CRRT utilization, ventricular assist device (VAD) management, and ECMO.

Minimum experience: 2 years

Certifications: ACLS & BLS

Experience required: EPIC

Weekends: Every other for duration of contract

Call requirements: None

Float required: Potential if we are over staffed

Patient diagnoses: CABG pre/post op, TAVR, CABG pre/postop, Cardiac Valve Surgery, Dissecting and Post-operative Aneurysms, Any other cardiac surgical procedure, VV & VA ECMO, Tandem heart, Impella, IABP, Thoracic aneurysm (requiring bypass), Thoracotomy, Post-operative patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring/vent support, LVAD, Swan, s/p cardiac arrest, Pulmonary hypertension, Pericardial window

Special procedures/unit details: Mostly cardiac surgical with a mix of cardiac medical patients. Many different bedside procedures done which will most likely resemble other like ICU's. Special equipment: Hemosphere's/ Accuman, impella's, CRRT, TVP's, ECMO, tandem, LVAD's, IABP, Swan, vent

Travel compliance RTO: Client prefers that RTO be minimized to 7 days maximum, per contract. RN License: No license hits are accepted. Hard Stop Local Radius: 50 miles. Local candidates will be offered at a lower BR Charting: EPIC experience heavily preferred Certifications: AHA or ARC only Travel pair policy: Pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules. OR Tech/CST Policy: Candidate must have NBSTSA. WellSpan will NOT accept NCCT Pharmacist/Pharmacy Tech Requirements: all pharmacists/pharmacy techs are required by law to have their PA license in hand to work in PA. Please do not submit unless your traveler holds a PA license. Mammography Tech Requirements: by MQSA standards, candidate must provide the following: prior work experience (at least 200 mammograms performed during the past 24 mo.); 15 continuing education credits obtained during the past 36 months; a copy of her current, active ARRT registration; evidence of initial qualifications in mammography. P/F Testing: Where applicable, travelers are required to complete and pass the EKG exam within 72 hours of signing their travel contract. Additional attempts will be approved at unit managers' discretion Modules: Modules are billable, and generally take 5-6 hours to complete Modules are completed pre-start
