Business Banking Relationship Manager

Overview Business Banking Relationship Managers at U.S. Bank help clients achieve their financial goals by building strong, client‑centric relationships and providing tailored banking solutions. Responsibilities Build and manage new and existing business client relationships. Serve as the primary advisor for business clients, recommending deposit, loan and other banking products. Assess clients’ banking needs and gather and process client and account information. Educate clients on available products and services and recommend financial solutions that align with their goals. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions. Maintain an in‑office presence of at least three days per week while also working flexibly when possible. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Five to seven years of relevant banking or business‑development experience. Strong relationship‑management and business‑development skills. Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure. Knowledge of cash‑flow management and commercial credit underwriting; commercial credit training preferred. Understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis. Broad knowledge of bank products, enabling appropriate product recommendations. Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the organization. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse industries and markets.
