About the Opportunity: ProspectBlue is partnering with a leading asset management firm to identify an Associate Financial Advisor to join its growing wealth management team in Virginia Beach, VA. Key Responsibilities: Support financial advisors and the broader wealth management team in serving clients and managing day-to-day client needs. Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and account information. Assist with client communications, follow-up, and administrative activities. Work with internal systems and technology platforms that house customer and account data. Maintain organized records and perform basic bookkeeping-related tasks. Ensure activities and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with applicable industry rules and regulations. Manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Develop a strong understanding of firm processes, systems, products, and client service practices. Qualifications: 1–5 years of prior financial advisory or wealth management experience required. Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire date. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred. Extremely well-organized, detail-oriented, and accurate, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability and willingness to learn and master computer programs and systems that house customer data. Ability to understand and adhere to industry rules, regulations, and compliance requirements. Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to client service and teamwork.
