Number of beds: 38. Head walls: 3 main areas, Rapid, Main, POD 3 (psych safe area). Number of staff: 7 Day/Night RNs, 0.5 Mid Shift RN. Type of equipment: Ventilator, BiPAP, EKG, Arterial Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes. EMR: Meditech. Typical hiring profile: Skill set most recruited for: Candidates must have skills in prioritizing and time management. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have: Team player skills will be considered first. Typical procedures performed on the unit include: Port Placement. Chest Tubes. Best personality fit: Patient-focused individuals. Attention to detail. Team players. Positive attitude. Coachable. Floating Area(s): Brookside ED. Dress Code: Scrub color/attire - Navy Blue. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please refer to unit policies and guidelines.
