About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Experience with general CT, strokes, and oncology patients Description: This is a Level IV Trauma Center and Level III NICU facility. It is a teaching hospital with a total of 228 beds. The imaging department has 2 CT suites. The average daily census is around 100. Candidates should have trauma experience. Patient types include young adults to geriatric patients. Required skills include experience with general CT, strokes, and oncology patient care. The facility operates with a robust support system that includes transport staff and lead technologists. There are three total CT technologists per shift. A radiologist is onsite for readings during the day and available offsite at night. The unit manager is present during day shifts. Rapid Response and Code Team are available 24/7. The charting system utilized is EMR: EPIC and PACS: McKesson. The unit equipment includes Canon 80 Slice and GE 40 Slice. There is no floating between units. Scheduling includes weekend rotation based on requisition approval. There is no on-call requirement for this position. If scheduled on holidays, the employee will be expected to work. Scrub colors should be solid and professional, without graphics or logos.
