More ways to build a career that moves you forward. Overview South Pointe Chevrolet is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive dealership growth. The ideal candidate is a proven automotive sales leader with strong coaching, leadership, and relationship-building skills. This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, developing high-performing sales consultants, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery. The Sales Manager will play a key role in achieving sales targets, maintaining compliance with dealership standards, and fostering a positive, high-energy team environment. Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop the dealership sales team to achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales goals. Monitor daily sales activities, performance metrics, and key dealership objectives. Recruit, train, coach, and mentor sales consultants to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer service skills. Assist sales staff in qualifying customers, structuring deals, and closing sales opportunities. Ensure all customers receive an exceptional and professional dealership experience. Manage inventory presentation and collaborate with leadership to maintain appropriate vehicle inventory levels. Review sales reports, forecasts, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and applicable regulations. Partner with the Finance & Insurance team to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Address customer concerns and resolve escalated issues in a professional and timely manner. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of automotive sales leadership experience, preferably in a dealership environment. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance. Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to analyze sales data and implement effective business strategies. Strong organizational and time management skills. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Proficiency with CRM systems, dealership management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
