Speech Pathologist

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at Grayson County SSA. In this full-time role, you will work with students of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our students by developing personalized therapy plans and implementing effective interventions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve students' speech and language skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care. Provide training and resources to educators to support students' communication needs. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state license to practice as a Speech Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with diverse populations and age groups, including children and adults. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and therapy.
