Location Vac-Con Green Cove Springs, FL Salary / Hourly Hourly City Green Cove Springs State Florida Job Description Job Summary Under training and close supervision, the Electrician C assembles, installs, tests, and maintains low-voltage electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures in accordance with engineering prints and work instructions. This role is designed for individuals developing foundational electrical skills within a manufacturing environment and supports Vac-Con's production and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems under supervision Perform wiring of standard systems in accordance with prints, including: Hose reel control panels Tank switches Tail lights and backup alarms Assist with diagnosing basic electrical issues using test equipment Follow established work instructions, safety standards, and quality procedures Maintain a clean, organized workspace in alignment with Lean 5S principles Support team members and supervisors as directed Education & Training High School Diploma or equivalent required Basic electrical training required, including: Proper crimping techniques Basic hand tools and their uses Low-voltage electrical circuits Experience 0-3 years of electrical experience preferred Manufacturing environment experience preferred Technical Skills & Tools Ability to read and follow basic electrical prints and schematics Experience using the following tools and equipment: Ohmmeters Test lights Wire crimpers and wire strippers Completion of Lean 5S training or willingness to complete required coursework Competencies & Qualifications Strong work ethic and accountability for work performed Willingness to learn and follow direction closely Basic computer knowledge Consistent adherence to company policies, including attendance, safety, and ethical standards Remote Position No undefined About Us!
