Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Sonography. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography lab. Performs routine and complex echocardiographic imaging and a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing, including exercise stress, dobutamine stress, echocardiograms, pediatric echoes, and transesophageal echoes. Administers contrast when needed and not contraindicated. Uses Xcelera for preliminary physician-reading information. Cross-trains to other CV Services divisions.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Holiday shifts PRN. On-call rotation during the week and on weekends.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS, CI

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
