A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and compliance initiatives across multiple production facilities. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with operational leaders to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

This is a highly visible position offering the opportunity to influence safety strategy, develop programs from the ground up, and make a meaningful impact on employee well-being and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to foster a strong safety-first culture throughout the organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) across manufacturing operations.
• Lead all aspects of the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program, including procedures, training, audits, and compliance activities.
• Create and maintain emergency response plans and site preparedness programs.
• Develop and facilitate safety training programs for employees and leaders.
• Manage safety equipment, inspections, and readiness programs.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors.
• Maintain required incident reporting, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action initiatives related to safety incidents and near misses.
• Monitor and communicate safety performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and internal policies.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 8+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience managing EHS programs and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Experience implementing safety programs in complex production environments.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally between sites as needed.
