Job Role: RN - Medical ICU (000539)

Schedule: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM (3x12)

Location: Queens. NY

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

1. Critical Care Management:
   • Monitor and manage critically ill post-surgical patients.
   • Administer medications and treatments, oversee life support systems.
2. Assessment and Planning:
   • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans.
   • Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
3. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
   • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
4. Emergency Response:
   • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
   • Maintain accurate medical records.
   • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
6. Patient Advocacy and Education:
   • Advocate for patients and address ethical concerns.
   • Educate patients and families on postoperative care and signs of complications.
7. Infection Control and Quality Improvement:
   • Implement infection control protocols.
   • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Two year of Critical care experience
• IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill Conscious sedation 
• Active NY License
• Valid ACLS and BLS Cert
