Details 13-week contract at a hospital-based ICU Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week) Technology utilized includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps Cerner EMR experience required Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses) Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course) Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience in a US hospital required BSN highly desired US Social Security Number required Date of birth required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Provides comprehensive patient care to a diverse critical care population, including operating and monitoring advanced life-support and hemodynamic equipment Care is delivered in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements, with attention to the needs of patients, families, and the community American Traveler Job ID #P-725861.
