Senior Civil Engineer

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/ Assistant Engineering Manager on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant.
Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.- Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
- Hydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculations
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Stormwater management calculations
- Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
- Creating 3-D surfaces
- Grading plans
- Profiles/cross-sections
- Pipe networks and corridors
- Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer license
- 10 to 15 years of civil engineering experience
- Work experience in the following is required:
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Erosion and sediment controls
- Stormwater management controls
- Land Development
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
