Inventory Control Analyst

In this impactful role, you'll champion inventory accuracy by leading the cycle count process, partnering with Materials and Warehouse teams to solve discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement across the business. Working closely with Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, Sales, and Operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials flow seamlessly through production.You'll also oversee accurate batch and lot traceability, maintain data integrity within our ERP system, and support critical regulatory reporting. If you enjoy solving problems, collaborating across teams, and making a visible impact on business success, this is an exciting opportunity to help drive operational excellence every day.What You Will Do:Support the creation, maintenance and adherence of work instructions for proper inventory control transactionsDevelop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure that they are accurate and conducted within the appropriate timeframe(s)Conduct inventory cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environmentCoordinate the cycle count process and monitor the results to identify if recounts are required and/or adjustments to our standard work should be exploredReport audit/cycle count results to LPIM and Site LeadershipPerform thorough research and document material/insert/component inventory discrepancies, collaborating with the appropriate internal partners (Logistics, Warehouse, Procurement, etc.) to identify root causes and provide potential solutionsMonitor warehouse transfers for accuracy as directed by the Logistics, Planning and Inventory ManagerAs (one of) the key personnel responsible for monitoring and maintaining 'Lot Traceability,' the Inventory Analyst communicates any concerns or opportunities for improvement to the LPIMSupport the Sales/Procurement Team(s) when material change requests are madeProvide assessments of material/insert/component consumption, from our various Internal PartnersCollaborate with Logistics (Receiving) on "Mystery Materials," and material return requestsLead and support the periodic efforts for Mold Destruction and Material DisposalWork with Customer Service, Planning, Operations, etc., to ensure Molds, Material, Parts (and more) are properly scrapped/removed from our system(s)Responsible for the process of monitoring and maintaining process for expired Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) material – disposing/dispositioning as appropriateWhat You Bring:Associate degree in business, materials management or equivalent/applicable experience3-5 years in inventory control, including warehouse exposureAble to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environmentAttention to detail is paramountAble to be licensed to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane, etc.)Proficient in MS Office Suite – particularly in Excel/OutlookMust be punctual and have good attendanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative approach required, with regular interaction between various departments (Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service Representatives, Sales, etc.)What Sets You Apart:Curiosity-based problem-solving skillset (root-cause analysis)APICS certification preferredWMS/DMS/ERP systems experienceMS AX or Dynamics 365 a 'super bonus'Salesforce proficiencyUnderstanding or experience with external and/or internal auditsLean experience and/or certificationISO and/or ITAR familiarityDOMO experienceWhat's In It For You:We offer a competitive salary and total rewards packageWe offer amazing benefits including but not limited to:Health Insurance: Traditional OR High Deductible planFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings Account (including employer contributions)Dental and VisionBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityPaid caregiver leaveYou will receive at least 3 weeks of PTO + Wellness + Holiday Pay + Volunteer Hours401k with company match and immediate vestEmployee Stock Purchase Program at a discounted rateMatching grants through Protolabs foundationAnd More!$25.91 - $35 an hour Protolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix vary based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions.
