Anesthesiologist

CompHealth is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for locum assignments, offering flexible weekend and night shifts with no call or holiday requirements. This role involves managing approximately 60 surgical cases per day, encompassing a diverse range including general, complex vascular, complex orthopedic, and neuro cases. The position requires expertise in both adult and trauma cases, with a preference for pediatric experience.

Practice Info

• Approx. 60 surgical cases per day
• General 50%, complex vascular 20%, complex ortho 20%, neuro 10%
• Adult cases 80%, trauma cases 20%

Compensation

• $300 - $400 hourly
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay

Shift & Schedule

• Weekend shift -- Fri - Mon, 7 am - 5 pm, 10-hour shifts (4 days)
• Night shift option -- Fri 5 pm - Tue 7 am, 14-hour shifts
• No call, no callback, no holidays scheduled

Requirements

• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years post-residency experience
• Ultrasound-guided blocks required
• Central/arterial lines required
• Regional anesthesia required
• Pediatric experience preferred
