Emergency Medicine Physician
Fusion Healthcare Staffing
Schedule: Flexible shifts across days, swings, and nights; approximately 40 hours of physician coverage daily
Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department (acute care facility)
Patient Volume: Approximately 36,500 annual visits; adult ED coverage (separate pediatric team)
EMR: Cerner
Required Skills: Full-scope emergency medicine including acute care, stabilization, and response to inpatient codes
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible required (ABEM/AOBEM)
Licensure: DC license required; DEA and CSR required
Credentialing: Approximately 30-60 days with temporary privileges available
Support: Broad specialty backup with dedicated APP coverage and structured ED team environment
