QA Automation Engineer

Our client, a growing B2B SaaS company, is hiring a remote QA Automation Engineer to expand their browser test coverage and tighten the release cycle. You'll own the end-to-end automation suite, partner with engineering on test strategy, and help the team ship faster with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain end-to-end automation in Playwright or Cypress
- Improve CI test reliability and flake reduction
- Partner with engineering on test strategy and shift-left quality work
- Build reusable test fixtures, utilities, and reporting
- Investigate production bugs and add regression coverage
Requirements
- 3+ years of test automation experience for web applications
- Strong Playwright or Cypress; comfort with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience integrating tests into CI (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
- API testing experience (Postman, supertest, or similar)
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills
