Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult and adolescent patients in an inpatient post-acute setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on quality outcomes
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Participate in daily patient rounding and care coordination
• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation with APP/scribe support
• Promote evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings
• Support continuity of care and discharge planning

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for unrestricted Wisconsin medical licensure
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Eligible for Controlled Substance Registration
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred

• Previous Hospitalist or Post-Acute Care experience
• Interest in leadership and Medical Directorship opportunities
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
