Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Document patient progress and communicate with the therapy team
- Ensure safety and effectiveness of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to support resident goals
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment
- Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, Hospital, or Outpatient Clinic.
- May involve prolonged standing, lifting, and assisting patients with mobility.
