Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with EVH experience to join a team of 3 employed cardiothoracic surgeons --Daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively; follow-up assessments in clinic --Call schedule: 1:3 --EVH experience and 1st assist in surgery required --2+ years of experience with routine heart surgery and thoracic procedures required --Understanding of clinic follow-ups and post-op outpatient care required --Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus --Competitive salary with incentives; paid malpractice coverage --Comprehensive benefits including medical, behavioral health, dental, vision, prescription drugs, and life insurance --401(k) with employer match, PTO, disability coverage, FSA, and financial wellbeing resources --CME time, dues allowance, and license reimbursement --South Carolina license required or ability to obtain prior to start

Practice covers seven dialysis units, three hospitalist, and two office locations - 371-bed tertiary referral center - Largest and most clinically advanced hospital in the area. - Level I adult trauma center - DHEC approved level II pediatric trauma center - 3 emergency departments (4th to open early fall) - Pediatric ER - DNV-GL certified Comprehensive stroke center - Only provider of open heart surgery in the area - Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health unit - Inpatient rehabilitation unit - Maternity center with Level II neonatal nursery and maternal fetal medicine for high-risk moms - GME program with six residences and two fellowships 60-mile stretch of coastline is considered one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the US.
