Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and skilled Fisher Plow Technicians to join our dynamic team. Prior work experience with plows in a shop environment is required. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing and troubleshooting Fisher plow equipment to ensure optimal performance during the critical winter season. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment with great earning potential!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Fisher plow systems and associated heavy equipment.
• Install Fisher plow components
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Utilize technical drawings and schematics to identify issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Participate in Service training programs required for the devlepment of skills and knowledge.
• Maintain condtion of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Account for all time worked and for all parts and materials used in performing assigned dutries and submit in a timely manner.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, vendors, co-workers and managment.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience working on plows
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
• Basic welding, mechanical and fabricating skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, assembly diagrams or schematics.
• Ability to understand and to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
