You will:Lead high-visibility, mission-critical data center projectsOperate with real ownership and decision-making authorityInfluence both project delivery and operational strategyWork alongside highly technical teams solving complex problems dailyStrong preference for candidates with experience across the full L1–L5 commissioning lifecycle in hyperscale environments.What You'll OwnProject Leadership & Execution• Lead commissioning delivery from pre-construction through final validation• Oversee functional testing, system validation, and issue resolution• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standardsTechnical & Operational Leadership• Identify system risks, scope gaps, and performance issues early• Partner with field teams to drive real-time problem solving• Interpret contract documents to reduce risk and maximize valueFinancial Performance• Manage project profitability, utilization, and forecasting• Review invoicing and support financial reporting processesTeam Leadership• Lead, mentor, and develop commissioning engineers• Support staffing, hiring, and team scalability• Build accountability and consistency across project executionClient Leadership & Growth• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients• Strengthen relationships and support repeat business• Contribute to project pursuits, pricing, and growth strategyQuality & Continuous Improvement• Ensure consistent technical standards across all projects• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencyWhat You BringCore Experience• 10+ years in commissioning, engineering, or mission-critical construction• Proven experience delivering data center projects• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teamsPreferred Experience• Full L1–L5 commissioning lifecycle experience• Hyperscale data center exposure strongly preferredTechnical Capability• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and system interconnectivity• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsLeadership & Business Skills• Strong client relationship management• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale teams• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and margin managementProfessional Skills• Excellent communication and presentation ability• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability• Ability to operate both strategically and tacticallyWork Environment & Travel• Active construction and mission-critical facility environments• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate job sites• Travel required based on project needsWhy FSTAt FST, you are part of a team that values execution, accountability, and expertise.
