Contract | Days | Options available: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8s) or Four 10-hour shifts per week 6:30 AM-5:00 PM (4x10s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with ANA Standards of Care and Standards of Professional Nursing Practice
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to perform comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family care
• Deliver clinical care in Preoperative and/or PACU settings, including airway management and patient monitoring
• Conduct discharge teaching and patient/family education in a patient- and family-centered environment
• Float between Preoperative and PACU areas as patient care needs require
• Serve as a change agent to meet the evolving needs of patients, families, and the organization

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current, active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license - must be in hand at time of submission
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Preoperative and/or PACU nursing experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric Preoperative/PACU nursing experience
• Experience with discharge teaching in a perioperative setting
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and interdisciplinary communication skills
