Strategic Account Manager, Workers' Comp | PA, MI & SC | Uncapped Commission About the company Our client is a fast-growing wearable technology company in the medical space. The product range keeps growing, with new devices added recently, and the company is now investing heavily in its workers' comp business. The role The role is both new business and account management: you'll open doors with physicians and clinics who aren't yet working with the company, and you'll also take on existing accounts in your area and build them out. You'll be the face of the company to prescribers and the clinics around them. What you'll be doing Building and managing a network of referring physicians in the workers' comp market, including pain management doctors, orthopedic physicians and other prescribers Winning new accounts through proactive outreach, in-person visits and relationship building Growing and retaining existing accounts, looking for ways to increase order volume and introduce additional devices from the range Understanding how workers' comp cases flow, from injury to prescription to order, and helping physicians and their teams use the company's devices easily Keeping your pipeline and account activity up to date, and reporting to your regional manager Representing the company at clinics, local events and industry networking opportunities across your territory What we're looking for A strong workers' comp background, with an existing network of physicians and prescribers that you can bring with you Real relationships with pain management doctors, orthopedic physicians and other prescribers. General doctors are welcome too A track record selling devices, DME, orthotics, bracing or similar physician-referred products. Experience with wearable or electrotherapy technology is a plus A proven ability to hit and beat targets in a commission-driven role Comfortable working independently, managing your own diary and travelling within your territory Based in or able to cover Pennsylvania, Michigan or South Carolina We're looking for physician-led referral relationships, so backgrounds based mainly on chiropractic referrals won't be a fit. You don't need Medicare or commercial insurance experience. What's on offer Base salary, high commission with no cap.
