Data Automation Engineer - Python / PyTest

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PyTest, database testing, SQL, and ETL validation to support data quality and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks using PyTest.

• Perform ETL validation, database testing, and complex SQL-based data verification.

• Automate REST API testing and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
\n
• Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and support test data management.
\n
• Collaborate with development and QA teams in an Agile environment.
\n
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to improve automation efficiency and test coverage.
\n

Required Skills:

• Strong Python, PyTest, and automation framework development experience.
\n
• Expertise in SQL, database testing, and ETL validation.
\n
• Hands-on API automation testing experience.
\n
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Git.
\n
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI-powered development tools.
\n
• Varicent product implementation experience is required.
\n
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
