Senior Product Manager - Fleet

Fleet Operations & Control Automation: Leverage agentic AI, automation and other techniques to optimize the routing and execution of various fleet operations and control processes – with goal of maximizing fleet availability and minimizing operating costs.

Service Automation: Automate and optimize the routing of vehicle servicing needs to maximize fleet health and availability.

Shop Efficiency: Maximize internal (Hertz-owned) maintenance shop performance by driving technician productivity, repair quality and optimizing parts/labor costs associated with servicing vehicles.

Partner Services : Utilize computer vision, LLMs, and other techniques to rationalize quality of services and cost to hold partners accountable and improve performance over time.

What You’ll Do:

• Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with company goals and market needs.

• Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in AI/ML, telematics, and vehicle diagnostics.

• Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on customer feedback and business objectives.

• Feature Development: Oversee the ideation, definition, development, testing, launch, and monitoring of features end-to-end.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.

• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and successes, fostering transparency and trust.

• Training and Support: Provide training and support to service partners and customers, ensuring they can effectively use the product.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree; Prefer an MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of end-to-end product management experience (e.g. vision setting, product definition, trade off making, testing, release management, measurement / feature enhancement, etc.)

• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations

• Ability to influence

• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
