RN - Interventional Radiology

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CVIR)This position involves providing skilled nursing care within the Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CVIR) department. The role requires a strong ability to monitor patients receiving moderate sedation, as well as a commitment to patient safety and comfort during procedures.40-hour workweek, consisting of four 10-hour shifts.Shift start times are 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM.Participation in on-call duties is required.Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.Provide direct patient care, including assessments and interventions in the CVIR setting.Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Document patient information and care provided accurately in medical records.Educate patients and families about procedures, expected outcomes, and postoperative care.Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Experience in cardiovascular nursing or related areas is preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in cardiovascular care techniques.Ability to perform patient assessments and recognize complications.Knowledge of sedation protocols and emergency response.Exemplary patient care and interpersonal skills.If you are passionate about providing high-quality care in the cardiovascular field and possess the required certifications, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
