Our organization is seeking a passionate and skilled Job Captain to join our dynamic construction team. This full-time role will offer the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from modular building designs to DSA Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the project team throughout the design and construction process, ensuring the highest quality of work is achieved and that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the project team through all phases of design and construction, from initial concept to final completion.
2. Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed and accurate architectural drawings and specifications.
3. Oversee the design of modular buildings, ensuring all designs meet the necessary codes and standards.
4. Work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Participate in DSA Projects, overseeing the drafting and design process to ensure compliance with DSA requirements.
6. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project objectives are met.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, helping to resolve any design or construction issues that arise.
8. Continually review and update project documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
9. Participate in project meetings and presentations, providing updates on project progress and addressing any questions or concerns. Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
3. Experience in modular building design and DSA Projects.
4. Strong drafting and design skills, with a keen eye for detail.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate a team.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. A strong understanding of construction codes and standards.
8. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
