Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Sonographer for a travel assignment in Concord, MA. This role is perfect for those with expertise in Diagnostic Cardiographic testing, looking to expand their experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be working closely with Physicians under the supervision of the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes, including M-Mode, 2D, Color Doppler, Pulsed and Continuous Wave Doppler, Stress Echo, and Trans-esophageal echos (TEE).
• Perform non-traumatic examinations using phono-apexcardiograms and imaging duplex.
• Analyze patient histories to guide examination processes and answer clinical questions.
• Position patients and operate equipment for accurate and informative data collection.
• Evaluate and analyze recordings; perform complete analysis.
• Explain procedures to patients for comfort and understanding.
• Conduct EKG's, stress tests, and holter monitoring.
• Assist Cardiologist in Trans-esophageal and Dobutamine echo examinations as needed.
• Process, distribute, and bill reports efficiently.
• Ensure quality testing standards are maintained.
• Maintain and support patient rights to care, privacy, and respect.

Requirements of the Sonographer

• BLS required.
• Current registration as RDCS or RCS required.
• Completion of a Certified Ultrasound program required.
• Certification: Cardiac Sonography certificate program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years experience performing and interpreting 2D, M-Mode, and Doppler Echocardiograms.
