Overview Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care travel assignment in Seaford, Delaware. Start date 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 35 per week with a 5x8 Day shift (08:00–16:30). Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment for residents with communication or swallowing disorders, adapting plans to the LTC context.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, goals, and progress notes in coordination with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct screenings, re-evaluations, and ongoing assessments; document outcomes and modify interventions based on patient response.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and social work to support comprehensive care plans and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and delivering care in a safe, patient-centered manner.

Requirements

• Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license (state licensure to practice in Delaware)
• Active Delaware business license to staff in DE
• Account with the DHSS Background Check Center (or ability to establish one) for mandatory background checks
• Eligibility to work in a LTC/Nursing Home setting on a travel/temporary basis
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week assignment and meet client/facility scheduling requirements
