Responsibilities

Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures Maintain proper vendor packets Verify and maintain COI and Workers Comp coverage Perform data entry associated with accounts payable Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies Reconcile monthly statements Issue and reconcile PO's within QuickBooks Generate AP Reports for management to review and approve Audit and process credit card bills Address and respond to vendor inquiries

Requirements and Skills

Strong time management and organizational skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Understand expense accounts and cost centers Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.) Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles Data entry skills Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am -4:30 pm Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
