About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Harmony Care at Beaumont, you will work closely with our experienced physical therapists to design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans for our patients. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will provide individualized treatment sessions, conduct assessments, and educate patients on exercises and self-care techniques to promote optimal recovery. Your expertise will help patients regain strength, mobility, and function, empowering them to return to their daily lives with confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the design and implementation of treatment plans

• Provide direct patient care, including conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and implementing exercises and interventions

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research

• Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, empathy, and communication

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed
