Leonardtown Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician!

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, nights or calls

Sterile Processing Technician at Leonardtown Surgery Center

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Pay Range: Min $20.58 to Max $29.84. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
