Controls Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Controls Electrician / BAS Installer to install, wire, and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS) for commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate has experience with HVAC controls, low-voltage wiring, and electrical installations and can work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Install Building Automation System (BAS) control panels, controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices. Run conduit, pull wire, terminate low-voltage and line-voltage wiring, and label all control circuits. Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, mechanical plans, and wiring diagrams. Install and connect HVAC control equipment including VAV boxes, AHUs, RTUs, boilers, and chillers. Perform point-to-point checkout and assist with startup and commissioning. Troubleshoot wiring, communication networks, and control devices. Maintain compliance with NEC, local electrical codes, and jobsite safety requirements. Coordinate with project managers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Complete daily reports and maintain accurate installation documentation. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical work, HVAC controls, or BAS installation. Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings. Experience installing DDC control systems and low-voltage wiring. Knowledge of BAS communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturers such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Schneider Electric, or Distech is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience bending conduit and installing electrical raceways. Knowledge of HVAC systems and sequence of operations.
