About us Starr Regional Medical Center- Etowah Campus is a home to an emergency department, outpatient services, an 88‑bed skilled and long‑term care nursing home, a senior care program and wound care center. How you’ll contribute A Behavioral Health Tech who excels in this role performs patient care activities in accordance with applicable scopes and standards of practice. They support nursing staff and contribute to a safe, comfortable, and compassionate patient experience. This includes but is not limited to: Providing direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning. Assisting nursing staff with vital signs, specimen collection, routine observations and reporting changes in patient condition promptly. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment. Supporting patient mobility and safety using appropriate techniques and equipment. Documenting care provided in accordance with department standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 45 days of hire) Handle with Care (HWC) (required within 45 days of hire) CNA certification (preferred) Why Join Us?
