Patient Care Technician

Contract:13 weeks
D/N Rotate Shift.

Hospital experience is required!
Must be able to take vitals.
Minimum 1 year of experience.
MedSurg units.
Will accept locals for this position.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or patient care technician (PCT) program preferred.
Certification as a nursing assistant or patient care technician required (e.g., CNA, PCT, EMT).
Prior experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility, preferred.
Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
