IP Attorney $215,000 - $235,000 per year | Boston, MA | On‑Site | Permanent A bit about us: A highly regarded intellectual property practice is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its Boston office. This role offers exposure to sophisticated patent and intellectual property matters for innovative technology and life sciences clients, with meaningful responsibility and direct partner interaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IP litigation or patent‑focused counseling work and be comfortable handling complex technical subject matter. Attorneys in this group work closely with clients, contribute to strategic case development, and are encouraged to take ownership of matters early. Job Details Responsibilities Draft motions, briefs, and substantive pleadings in patent and IP disputes Conduct legal and technical research related to patent infringement and validity Support trial preparation, expert discovery, and claim construction strategy Assist with IP portfolio strategy, enforcement, and risk assessment Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on high‑profile matters Qualifications JD from a top tier law school Admission to at least one US jurisdiction Three to six years of intellectual property experience Background in patent litigation strongly preferred Technical background helpful but not required Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
